.Mississippi River levels will continue to fall, with the reading at
Cape Girardeau dropping below flood stage tonight.

    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 26.4 feet

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Clarksville.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.5 feet, State Route P east of Elsberry begins
  flooding just east of the levee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 PM CDT Monday was 26.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early
    Wednesday morning to 24.4 feet early Friday morning. It will
    then rise to 24.7 feet Saturday evening. It will fall to 24.6
    feet early Sunday afternoon then rise again.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

River. Minor flooding is expected to continue along portions of the
White River through mid-late week.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  Edwardsport to SR 57 at Plainville due to flooding.  SR 358 floods
  on the east side of the river between the levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM EDT Monday /6:00 PM CDT Monday/ the stage was 19.0
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 PM EDT Monday /6:00 PM CDT Monday/ was 19.1
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  are concerned at this stage.

  - At 9:30 PM EDT Monday /8:30 PM CDT Monday/ the stage was 16.5
    feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 PM EDT Monday /8:30 PM CDT Monday/ was 16.5
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.1
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    late Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
